Welcome to the Riverdale Peer Tutoring Website!

Please log in if you have already registered, or please register if you have not. This website is designed to serve as an intermediary between students and tutors, creating match-ups between them that work with both schedules. Tutors are certified by teachers at Riverdale to teach specific subjects. If you would like to become a tutor or student, here's how you can get involved:

Tutors
1. Create an account on the main page. Please provide a valid email, as that is how you will be contacted. Log in on the main page.
2. Provide the dates you are available to tutor students. Time slots are an hour long. Feel free to add as many as you can.
3. Now you will need to get signatures from all the teachers whose subjects you would like to teach. Print off the Signatures Form and get one signature from a teacher in the respective subject (Mr. Schell for Art, any history teacher for history, etc.)
4. Give the sheet to either Elliott, Dan, Mr. Murray, or Negar. They will update your account.
5. Wait! You will be paired with students who need tutoring in your subjects at the time you are available. When this happens, you will receive an email. You need to log into your account and go to Appointments. Once there, click each respective tutoring session request on the calendar. You may either accept the tutoring request from here, or reject it if you don't have time on that particular day. You may also add/remove specific days from this screen.
6. When you confirm an appointment, the student will be alerted and the date will be set. Your hours will be automatically logged when this date passes.
