I teach.

During the 2003-2004 school year at Riverdale High School in Portland, Oregon,
I will be working with an integrated team.  First and third trimesters, I will be working with ninth graders.  During second trimester I will be working with eleventh graders.  I am the lead instructor for mathematics, but will also be team-teaching courses in English, History and Seminar and integrating with teachers of Art, English and Chemistry.  I lead the Modern Music club and will be offering an elective course in Modern Music Appreciation during second trimester.  I also facilitate the Alternatives to Violence course that meets all year on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:45 am.  Newcomers are always welcome!

In the past seven years at Riverdale, I have also led or team-taught courses in several areas of mathematics as well as Senior Seminar, German, Technology and Art. Along with cinema, the subjects that I teach encompass many of my interests.
