The speaker:
| · Uses clear enunciation and has a fluent delivery |
| · Uses appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication. |
| · Maintains eye contact. |
| · Uses his or her own language and vocabulary related to her or his subject. |
| · Has a clear purpose and main ideas. |
| · Speaks from notes or memorization. |
| · Uses appropriate citations, valid connections and conclusions. |
| · Considers more than one perspective. |
| · Has an outline or a visual organizer for the audience to follow. |
| · Has visuals that catch the audience's eye and/or inform them. |
| · Uses appropriate and engaging activities. |
| · Keeps presentation to a reasonable length. |
| · Proves that he or she is an expert on his or her topic. |
