Take me straight to the bands!

Most of these pages were created over two years ago, and I've only recently (December 11-13, 1998) tried to revisit them. Thus far, I've only check links and removed the dead ones. Only. Several of the (wimpy) pages were decimated by this purging. A few actually disappeared. I think I realized when I started this page that links are temporal, but this recent experience has made me think about refocusing the thrust of this page.

I had always intended this page to be more than just a links page: to provide something that isn't out there on the web. Many things are already done better elsewhere, but I want to try to provide some things to supplement other web sites, relate anecdotes from concerts, and give personal reviews of albums, tracks, and other related topics.

I worked for KLC Radio while attending Lewis and Clark College in the mid-eighties, and I suppose this list of bands reflects all the good and bad things about that. Some of these bands are old favorites, some are newer bands that I haven't become sick of yet.

Links followed by the word "Page" are just to one page (although more information may be available at The Rough Guide or UBL or several of the other fine general sites on the internet), the rest are to a page of mine with multiple links and other tidbits. Band names that are plain (blue) text are ones that I haven't found links for yet or haven't gotten to. Most of the pages are pretty boring now, those preceeded by * are ones that have had a little work done on them.

If for some reason you are interested in my music collection, here is a larger list of bands I like, and a comprehensive list (from 1996) of every band that I have any music by. If you're interested in recent acquisitions, mail me with questions.

So, without further ado, here are my band pages.
