Man on MoonMicheal GriffinCrew Exploration Vehicle

The Exploration Initative, proposed by President George W. Bush on January 14th, 2004, outlines a plan for manned missions to the moon and eventually to Mars. Despite the cuts in research and demand for more funding that this project will require, it has been approved and the initial steps are already underway. My exhibition explores the reasons for and against the new plan as w
ell as the history behind it in an effort to answer my essential question: How will NASA's Exploration Initiative eventually further the success of space exploration?
