NCCA Student athleats face tests of character every day when it comes to dedication and devotion in their particular sport. When  looking at the three main factcors that athletes must devote themselves to, it may be overwhelming. Education: The main reason the student athlete is at the University and also the first one to be compromised. Money: From scholarships to gifts to pointshaving, money is a main issue for these students. And Time: On top of the four hour practices per day, team banquets, study halls, film studies, bonding, travel, and chalk talk, the student athlete must make time for their daily college assignments and a social life.
