Bacterial pathogens can evolve and develop resistance towards the drugs that keep humans healthy.  In America especially, antibiotics are overused and misused for purposes, such as livestock growth promotion, that allow drug-resistant pathogens to emerge and make our once coined "miracle drugs" ineffective. 

This webpage is a compilation of all the aspects of my Senior Exhibition project.  At my high school, each senior is required to pick a controversial topic of his/her choice and develop an in-depth understanding of the topic and issues surrounding it.

My hope is that this website and all of its elements enhance your understanding of the potentially disatrous national problems that may result from the overuse of our wonderful "miracle drugs": antibioitcs.
