Everyday I am challenged with communicating with others, and most of the time they do not understand what I am trying to say. I chose the topic of gender differences that affect communication in relationships because I feel that communicating is very important in every situation between two people. Next year I am going off to college to become a nurse. In my eyes, someone who is going to be dealing with children and their parents every day should be able to communicate with them, no matter what gender, and no matter what emotion they are facing. A nurse should be able to easily calm children down when they won’t stop screaming over something like a shot. The nurse’s power to affect how both parents react to news is why I studied this topic. I want to obtain better communication skills so I can have that power to make others understand eachother better.
