Prenatal Genetic Screening

Welcome to my Senior Exhibition Home Page. As a part of my school's year-long senior capstone project, we choose a topic to explore through an open-ended essential question.

I chose to look at the controversy of prenatal genetic screening because I am excited by the potential these procedures hold. They possess the possibility of curbing the incidence of genetic disease and yet they are met with fierce opposition. The power of science and medicine is limitless and in the future the challenge will be how to help people with that power and with ethical responsibility.
