Professional sports generate billions of dollars annually and have become one of the favorite means of entertainment for the average person in society. People attend the games, buy the merchandise, and idolize the players but how many of them actually know who is behind the scenes making everything work and paying the money to run these franchises? The team owner accepts certain responsibilities when he decides to acquire a team. I chose this topic because I have always had an interest in sports but never really had a thorough understanding of how they worked and who was behind the scenes. I have enjoyed working on this topic and feel very comfortable with the information I have gotten. |
